US, UK, China industrial output nos key cues for next week

Keeping an eye on the global markets next week, the industrial production numbers from US, UK and China will be the most important data point to watch out for.  Other economic data will be US retail sales on Wednesday, jobless claims number as usual on a weekly basis on Thursday and consumer sentiment numbers on Friday.

Important data point to watch out for today in the US would be the jobless claims numbers. Many people are expecting that the unemployment rate will go as high as 8.9%.
Keeping an eye on the global markets next week, we have the important industrial production numbers from the US, UK and China. Other economic data will be US retail sales on Wednesday, jobless claims number as usual on a weekly basis on Thursday and consumer sentiment numbers on Friday.
Mr Ben Bernanke will be speaking on Monday on financial crisis subject that will be important to hear. The euro zone gross domestic product (GDP) numbers will be announced on Friday.
Important results to watch out for next week will be from companies like Wal-Mart, Ambac and Daiichi Sankyo, which could have some repercussions on Ranbaxy. HSBC is another number to watch out for.
