Sensex consolidates; oil mkting cos, aluminium gain

At 11:48 hours IST,  the volatility continued in the Sensex though it was trading lower on the back of profit booking. Selling in heavyweights like ONGC, Bharti, Infosys, ITC, BHEL, HDFC, Wipro, SAIL and other stocks like Tata Power, Cipla, DLF, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Reliance Communication and Grasim was putting pressure on the markets.
