Instanex FII Index up 2.74%
At 2 pm, the Instanex FII Index was up 2.74% at 330.21 (+2.49% at 1 pm) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 3.04% (+2.77% at 1 pm). Nifty was up 2.81% (+2.64% at 1 pm) and Sensex was up 2.80% (+2.65% at 1 pm). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were also up – the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was up 2.85% (+2.81% at 1 pm), the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was up 1.85% (+1.95% at 1 pm) and the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was up 1.43% (+1.65% at 1 pm). Asian markets were up as well – Hang Seng closed 4.03% higher (+3.55% at 1 pm), SET Composite was up 1.94% (+2.12% at 1 pm) and Straits Times was up 1.85% (+1.43% at 1 pm).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index 14 were up and just Sun Pharma (-0.06%; 1.67%) was down. The main gainers were HDFC Bank (+5.68%; weight 5.60%), BHEL (+5.17%; weight 5.95%), L&T (+4.54%; weight 4.23%) and ONGC (+4.03%; weight 4.53%).
