Instanex FII Index up 0.62%
At 1 pm, the Instanex FII Index was up 0.62% at 318.80 (+0.09% at 12 noon) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 0.97% (+0.47% at 12 noon). Nifty was up 0.93% (+0.45% at 12 noon) and Sensex was up 0.83% (+0.39% at 12 noon). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were also strong – the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was up 1.99% (+1.74% at 12 noon), the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was up 1.45% (+1.11% at 12 noon) and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was up 1.32% (+0.77% at 12 noon). Asian markets were mixed – SET Composite was up 0.07% (-0.11% at 11 am), Hang Seng was down 0.17% (-0.47% at 11 am) and Jakarta Composite was up 0.51% (-0.69% at 12 noon).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index ten were up and five were down. The main gainers were ONGC (+3.85%; weight 4.31%), Reliance (+2.38%; weight 16.86%) and BHEL (+2.25%; weight 5.86%) and the main losers were Sun Pharma (-3.36%; weight 1.43%) and Infosys (-1.86%; weight 11.26%).
