Instanex FII Index up 0.42%
At 1 pm, the Instanex FII Index was up 0.42% at 307.46 (+0.82% at 12 noon) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 0.67% (1.15% at 12 noon). Sensex was up 0.64% (+1.17% at 12 noon) and Nifty was up 0.42% (+0.98% at 12 noon). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were mixed – the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was up 0.40% (+1.03% at 12 noon), the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 0.51% (+0.06% at 12 noon) and the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 1.07% (-0.39% at 12 noon). However, Asian markets were up – SET Composite was up 1.91% (+1.69% at 11 am), Straits Times was up 1.34% (+1.50% at 12 noon) and Shanghai Composite was up 0.93% (+0.75% at 12 noon).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index nine were up and six were down. The main gainers were L&T (+2.72%; weight 4.01%), Infosys (+2.47%; weight 11.48%) and BHEL (+1.92%; weight 5.60%) and the main losers were NTPC (-3.06%; weight 2.27%) and ONGC (-2.08%; weight 4.10%).
