Instanex FII Index up 0.09%
At 12 noon, Indian markets have turned positive, the Instanex FII Index was up 0.09% at 317.12 (-0.60% at 11 am) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was up 0.47% (-0.32% at 11 am). Nifty was up 0.45% (-0.39% at 11 am) and Sensex was up 0.39% (-0.33% at 11 am). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were also up – the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was up 1.74% (+0.51% at 11 am), the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was up 1.11% (+0.01% at 11 am) and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was up 0.77% (unchanged at 11 am). However, Asian markets were down – Nikkei 225 closed 0.95% lower (-1.30% at 10 am), Jakarta Composite was down 0.69% (-0.47% 10 am) and Hang Seng was down 0.47% (-0.30% at 11 am).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index ten were up and five were down. The main gainers were ONGC (+2.80%; weight 4.29%), Reliance (+2.07%; weight 16.90%) and BHEL (+1.74%; weight 5.87%) and the main losers were Sun Pharma (-3.55%; weight 1.43%) and Infosys (-2.36%; weight 11.26%).
