Instanex FII Index down 1.11%
At 2 pm, the Instanex FII Index was down 1.11% at 322.53 (-0.32% at 1 pm) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was down 0.73% (+0.29% at 1 pm). Sensex was down 1.05% (-0.25% at 1 pm) and Nifty was down 1.03% (-0.51% at 1 pm). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were down as well – the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 0.60% (+0.07% at 1 pm), the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 0.53% (+0.02% at 1 pm) and the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 0.48% (+0.12% at 1 pm). Asian markets were mixed – Hang Seng closed 0.52% higher (+0.39% at 1 pm), Jakarta Composite was up 0.31% (+0.04% at 1 pm) and Straits Times was down 0.35% (-0.38% at 1 pm).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index 12 were down and three were up. The main losers were Bharti Airtel (-3.81%; weight 11.27%), SBI (-3.38%; weight 3.56%) and L&T (-2.51%; weight 4.17%) and the main gainers were Reliance Ind (+1.27%; weight 18.68%) and ONGC (+0.55%; weight 4.43%).
