Instanex FII Index down 0.74%
At 2 pm, the Instanex FII Index was down 0.74% at 325.23 (-1.27% at 1 pm) and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was down 1.07% (-1.51% at 1 pm). Sensex was down 0.60% (-1.18% at 1 pm) and Nifty was down 0.37% (-1.08% at 1 pm). The other Instanex Ownership Indices were down as well – the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 1.23% (-1.78% at 1 pm), the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 1.14% (1.80% at 1 pm) and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 1.12% (-1.56% at 1 pm). Asian markets were mixed – SET Composite was up 1.21% (+1.02% at 1 pm), Straits Times was down 0.32% (-0.46% at 1 pm) and Jakarta Composite was down 0.90% (-1.09% at 1 pm).
Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index ten were down and five were up. The main losers were Infosys (-3.87%; weight 10.67%), BHEL (-3.66%; weight 5.79%) and SBI (-3.37%; weight 3.66%) and the main gainers were NTPC (+3.64%; weight 2.49%) and HDFC Bank (+3.40%; weight 5.87%).
