Indian ADRs: HDFC Bk, Tata Comm, Dr Reddys up 8-10%
The US markets ended positive but off the day’s high after a wave of selling pressure in late trade. Financials and technology are among the key gainers.
At closing bell, all the three major indices had rebounded more than one percent each. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended at 7,608.92, up 86.90 points or 1.16%. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 1,528.59, up 26.79 points or 1.78%. The S&P 500 was up 10.34 points or 1.31%, to settle at 797.87.
Indian ADRs ended higher on Tuesday. In the banking space, HDFC Bank was up 9.13% at $ 60.93 and ICICI Bank was up 4.81% at $ 13.29. In IT space, Patni Computers was up 7.57% at $ 5.54, Infosys was up 2.94% at $ 26.63, Satyam Computers was up 1.29% at $ 1.57 while Wipro ended down 0.14% at $ 7.11.
In other sectors, Tata Motors was up 8.35% at $ 4.93, Dr Reddy’s Labs was up 9.76% at $ 9.45 and MTNL ended down 0.36% at $ 2.73.
