Expect positive earning from IBM
CNBC’s Margaret Brennan – On Monday morning we begin this week thumbing up 6 weeks in a row of gains in the market, the Dow starting the day at 8,131 that is a 2-month high. We have got some big earnings news today – all eyes will be on Bank of America (BoA) four other major US banks have reported better than expected earnings in the last two weeks but that struggling financial giant is facing significant credit cost, more write down and trading losses in the capital market’s businesses. So whether or not they may beat or miss expectations there would certainly be a response in the markets.
We also hear from Eli Lily early in the day and after the close we will get results from IBM, the computer services giant is expected to have positive results for the quarter.
