Asian markets ended higher. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 1% or 171.98 points at 17,389.87.
China’s Shanghai Composite advanced 1.09% or 28.198 points at 2,625.645.
Japan’s Nikkei added 0.50% or 47.13 points at 9,432.83.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.79% or 11.05 points at 1,412.13.
Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 2,238.21.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 6,583.87.
