Asian markets end mixed

Asian markets ended mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite advanced 1.49% or 38.425 points at 2,618.172.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.38% or 65.69 points at 17,153.64.
Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.56% or 12.03 points at 2,178.13.
However, Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted plunged 3.23% or 214.95 points at 6,432.55.
Japan’s Nikkei declined 1.62% or 153.37 points at 9,298.61.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite lost 0.82% or 11.65 points at 1,403.51.
