Asian markets end lower

Asian markets ended lower. Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.86% or 80.49 points at 9,264.15.
Singapore’s Straits Times plunged 2.57% or 58.27 points at 2,210.97.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite lost 0.98% or 14.05 points at 1,421.65.
China’s Shanghai Composite tumbled 1.54% or 40.792 points at 2,610.622.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 1.58% or 276.35 points at 17,199.49.
However, Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted added 0.23% or 15.19 points at 6,718.81
