Allahabad Bank targets 21% growth in biz

Allahabad Bank targets 20-21 per cent growth in deposits and advances in 2009-10. The bank hopes to achieve business of Rs

1.75 lakh crore by March 2010 and Rs 2 lakh crore by the end of 2010, according to its Chairman and Managing Director, Mr

K.R. Kamath.

Total business of the bank grew by about 18 per cent at Rs 1.44 lakh crore in 2008-09, Mr Kamath said, while addressing a

press conference to announce the launch of retail sales of gold coins here on Tuesday.
