3 lakh shareholders file Rs 4987cr suit against Satyam in SC

In what could possibly be the first ever domestic class action lawsuit, the Supreme Court (SC) will on Monday hear a case against Satyam Computer Services, its ex- promoters, its audit firm, and even the former independent directors. CNBC-TV18’s Ashwin Mohan reports.
Though there are no specific provisions as such, sources indicate that this case could amount to a possible class action lawsuit of sorts and it will come up on Monday at the Supreme Court.
